Aagosh yateem trust came into existence only for serving needy people some 9 years ago back in 2011. The idea behind its establishment was only to flourish the talent which was getting wasted due to the orphanhood. The trust is being run by a board due to the orphanhood. The Trust is being run by a board of trustees comprised of the most trustworthy, reliable, honest, and god-fearing citizens of Kashmir. Our trust is worth it, the most reliable, credible, and transparent organization in Kashmir. No doubt, the orphanage is not a solution to the problem of orphanhood but the present turmoil produced an army of orphans, and 70% of these orphans are destitute and lost the main caretaker and also the source of their education and upbringing. we provide parental care to those children who have lost their parents and help destitute families to make them self-reliant
Aagosh Sultan-ul-arifeen yateem trust was established in 2011 by prominent philanthropist and social activist Bilal Sultan with its office & hostel at Sultan Abad behind Tayota Ansari Parimpora Bye-pass Srinagar, almost 200 volunteers are associated with the trust serving the needy and deserving people. it is the unique decentralized structure of the trust, where people are associated with the trust seeking no compensation for working for the trust they work for serving the needy people only to please the almighty and make a better place for themselves in the hereafter to rest in. Also, the organization believes and ensures that where we collect the resources are spent on deserving people.
This trust shall have a non-political and non-sectarian character it shall not, in any case, be affiliated with any party or organization that has a political or religious background. Aagosh ensures that it remains a non-political form and it is binding on its trustees to remain away from political or other activities that violate the law of the land.
The aim and objectives for which the trust is established are
1.To open homes for orphans and to provide them free education, lodging boarding, and fulfill their basic needs and homes for the destitute, the blind, and other types of handicapped people.
2. To establish a marriage bureau for arranging mass low-cost marriages for poop sections of society.
3. To organize comparisons against social evils like drug addiction, dowery extract vacancies in marriage, and similar other social functions.
